Resin Identification Codes - Plastic Recycling Codes

From The American Plastics Council website.  Watch out for types 3, 6 and 7.  They bad.

  1. Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET, PETE)
  2. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
  3. Vinyl (Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC)
  4. Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
  5. Polypropylene (PP)
